In a study at Stanford University, in which employees were randomly assigned at a call center to work from home and others to work in the office for nine months. The result was a 13% performance increase by those working from home, of which 9% was from working more hours.

 

It is thus found that companies providing work from home facilities with flexible work hours are more in demand. Employees even resign from their present jobs if they are given an opportunity to work in a company where the working culture is flexible. It all leads to more productive work and additional happiness among the employees thereby increasing the dedication.

Facebook and Google have declared a work from home extended till next year and also Twitter’s CEO declared a complete work from home flexibility for their employees.
